Exploding Box - Baby Girl with co-ordinating card

After my first box attempt a lady at work ordered this.  It took me a weekend to make (with various interruptions).  The cardstock was from Create and Craft.  The printed images were from a Create and Craft Occasions CD and other elements were from my craft box.

The punched layer was courtesy of a cheap punch purchased recently from Readicut and I wanted to incorporate it into my design.

The sheep was purchased from Clinton's cards at a bargain price of £1.49 and I bought various variations of this in one go.  It's nose was blue, but I coloured it pink with a Glaze 3D Roller pen and left it to dry.  The co-ordinating cards was made with left over materials and matching elements.

The lid element and element on the card reads "Little Angel".

The recipient was thoroughly delighted.

Please let me know what you think and post comments on how I could have made this better.

Thanks - Vicki x x

  2. Lovely. Do you use a template for the exploding box? Is it on the qualification CD? If not, where did you get it from?

  3. Hi Sazzlepeach. The template I used was one I took from one my mum had, but unfortunately it's not totally straight. There is not one on the CD but on the Qualification Website at the very bottom it's one of the freebies from Jennie and you can trust that one to be straight. Hope that helps x
